C14 to C19 Power Cords
These heavy duty 15amp IEC C14 – C19 power cords are built to last in your server rack. They are available in a variety of colors so that you can easily identify critical equipment within the rack itself. UL listed and RoHS compliant, they are fully tested and guaranteed for a lifetime.
When to use C14 to C19 Power cords
Higher powered switches and servers utilize the C20 inlet in their power supply. In order to attach a power cord to this power supply, you will need a power cord with the C19 connector. Since this type of equipment is used within a data center rack, the power source is generally a PDU (Power Distribution Unit). The PDU can have C13 inlets, in which case you would need a C14 connector to plug into the PDU. Thus, the C14 to C19 power cord was born.
