Hynix Semiconductor passed the Intel validation of the 44nm 2Gb DDR3 DRAM for client applications such as desktop PCs, notebooks and workstations.
Hynix бпs newly validated products are 2GB and 4GB DDR3 SODIMMs and 2GB and 4GB DDR3 UDIMMs, all at operating speeds of 1333MHz with 1.5V power supply.
Hynix has responded to the industry demand for боGreenбп or боEco-friendlyбп products with the new 44nm 2Gb DDR3 that reduces power consumption by 40% over the preceding generation 54nm products.
This is about two times lower than the industry average power consumption when compared to the same class of products.
