SIIG’s DP SATA II PCIe host controller is an ideal solution in expanding your SATA storage capacity to your PCIe-equipped desktop computer. It is designed to add two SATA channels for connecting up to two SATA hard disk drives. The DP SATA II PCIe host controller delivers data transfer rates of up to 3.0Gb/s and supports 48-bit LBA for drives with capacity up to 4TB. Additional features supported by this Serial ATA host controller include independent command fetch, scatter/gather, command execution, Native Command Queuing (NCQ), Non-zero offsets NCQ and Out-of-order data delivery NCQ ensure fast and reliable data transfers.
