The ONYX BOOX Leaf is an e-book E reader with an enlarged screen and advanced technical characteristics. The E reader has a 7” E Ink Carta Plus display with a front light and a dual touch control. Thanks to the enlarged screen, this model allows you to combine reading fiction and technical literature. Its high-performance hardware platform ensures a convenient speed of the device even with the most complex documents. The model is based on the Android 10 operating system, which allows you to install and use various third-party apps and significantly expands the capabilities of the device. A built-in Wi-Fi module allows you to use various network services, and Bluetooth allows you to connect external devices. The book is made in a thin compact case, and its screen is covered with Asahi protective glass.

Screen frontlight
The MOON Light 2 technology allows you to use the device in the dark or in poor light conditions without harming your sight. This function creates a soft glow on the screen that is optimal for dark rooms. The front light has a color temperature adjustment and has no flickering thanks to the Flicker-Free technology.

Increased screen diagonal
The ONYX BOOX Leaf screen, increased up to 7”, displays 30% more information than similar 6" screens. At the same time, the device is compact enough for comfortable use outside the house.

Capacitive Multi-touch screen
The E Ink Carta Plus 7” display has a lighter background and higher contrast than any screen in this class. It allows you to read in a bright sunlight and has a high screen refresh speed. The absence of flickering front light and the principle of image formation using “electronic ink” makes reading eye-friendly. The multi-touch screen provides easy control when reading: page turning with short taps, page moving, two-finger zoom, making notes in the text and usage of additional options.

Additional screen protection
Protective glass from a well-known Japanese manufacturer ASAHI is placed over the E Ink screen and protects it from scratches and other damages. The new glass made it possible to abandon additional frame edges, so the screen is located flush to the body of the device. It makes the work with the E reader more comfortable and its look more up-to-date. In addition, a special coating reduces the likelihood of glare on the screen.

Outstanding technical specifications
The 8-core processor with 1,8 GHz clock rate and 2 GB of RAM ensure a comfort work with the most complex documents. And 32 GB of nonvolatile memory allows the user to store a large library of favorite books.

Bluetooth module
Thanks to a built-in Bluetooth 5.0 module, you can connect external devices.

OTG
The device supports OTG, thanks to which you can connect additional peripherals that do not require drivers.

Format Support
The BOOX software allows you to open a number of different text and image file formats. While reading, you can change the style and the size of the font, the position of the pages, add bookmarks and zoom documents at your wish.

Audio player
The device has a pre-installed audio player, so you can listen to music or audio books. To use it, just run a corresponding audio file. You also can connect earphones or external speakers either via Bluetooth or via the USB Type C connector.

Convenient library
The library sorts ebooks by author, title and series. Handy search and filters allow you to find quickly any needed book by genre, language, date of publication etc. In addition, standard folders, created on PCs, are supported.

Handy recording ebooks into the memory
In addition to the standard way of copying ebooks with the help of a USB cable, you can transfer them via Bluetooth or a Wi-Fi channel when connected to the Internet. Also a new cloud PUSH service "Send2boox" is available.
