It has a CMP plenum fire safety rating, allowing to be safely used in the plenum air spaces of commercial buildings. It is fully compliant with UL Code 444 and National Electrical Code® TIA‑568.2‑D fire and safety standards, which require pure bare copper wire in communications cables.
