IBM 39M4554 Internal Hard Drive Data Storage

The DS4000 500 GB/7.2K SERIAL ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY ATTACHMENT (SATA) ENHANCED DISK DRIVE MODULE (E-DDM) is a new enhancement for selected models of the IBM System Storage DS4000 series midrange disk systems. With these enhancements you can selectively increase storage capacity, connectivity, flexibility, and versatility of DS4700 Express Models, DS4800 Model 80 Midrange 2 Disk Systems, and DS4000 EXP810 Storage Expansion Units.

DS4700 Express Models and DS4000 EXP810 Storage Expansion Units accept up to sixteen 500 GB SATA E-DDMs. You can use this E-DDM to increase the physical storage capacity of these models up to 8 TB per enclosure.
