This full-high Linear Tape Open (LTO) tape drive provides a cost-effective solution for IBM eServer xSeries server customers looking for an efficient tape product. The single drive packs 200GB of native storage capacity and up to 400GB compressed capacity. It is a generation-2 tape drive that capitalizes on growth of Storage Area Networks and tape automation due to transition from direct-attached to network-attached storage. It provides convenience and ease-of-use features, while supporting high-speed tape backup.
