HP V1405 Series devices are plug-and-play unmanaged fixed configuration Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Layer 2 switches designed for small and midsize businesses looking for entry-level, low cost networking. Series models include: rackmount 16- and 24-Port Gigabit switches; rackmount 16-, 24- and 24+2 Fast Ethernet switches; desktop office environment 5- and 8-Port Gigabit and Fast Ethernet switches; and desktop compact 5-, 8- and 16-Port Gigabit and Fast Ethernet switches. These unmanaged switches are preconfigured for fast, easy installation with connections using low-cost Ethernet copper cabling.
