- Value – exceptional storage density: The 1/8 G2 Tape Autoloader packs the maximum amount of storage into the minimum amount of space. LTO-4 Ultrium 1760 tape technology delivers 12.8 TB of compressed capacity (2:1) in a 1U form factor.

- Installation options: Reduce installation time with rack-ready units; optional rack kits are available for rack-mounting. The unit can also be used on a desktop by simply installing the enclosed rubber feet.

The 1/8 G2 models include LTO-4 Ultrium 1760 SAS or SCSI, LTO-3 Ultrium 920 SAS or SCSI, LTO-2 Ultrium 448 SCSI and LTO-1 Ultrium 232 SCSI tape drives.
- Alternatives in movement and storage of data: For dedicated import/export of media cartridges, each autoloader includes one mail slot. The autoloader also includes two removable 4-slot magazines for bulk loading of media, and provides a convenient bulk storage unit for moving media offsite.
