The QLE2462 from Dell is a dual-port host bus adapter (HBA) created for enterprise customers and engineered to support the most stringent storage networking requirements.
The QLE2462 HBA is among the highest performing, most reliable HBAs in the industry, supporting the latest high-performance interfaces (4Gb/s Fibre Channel and PCI Express).
It is capable of delivering outstanding performance by leveraging a single, application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) design, and combining a unique hardware architecture to offer up to 100,000 I/Os per second (IOPs) per port and 750MB throughput in full duplex while supporting a native x4 PCI Express. This product has been tested and validated on Dell systems. It is supported by Dell Technical Support when used with a Dell system.
