* Small to medium-size branch offices that have numerous remote users dialing in through modems; a Cisco 3620 with a NM-16A or NM-32A, 16- or 32-port async network module offers these remote users the same connectivity back to the corporate office that is enjoyed by the rest of the branch; full V.34 speeds are supported over the asynchronous connection

* Medium-size branch offices that have some remote users dialing in through modem racks; a Cisco 3640 with up to three NM-16A or NM-32A, 16- or 32-port async network modules connected to the modem rack (with optional custom cables) allows up to 96 dial-in users to connect to the branch office

* Medium-size branch offices that have a requirement for a high-density terminal server; a Cisco 3640 with up to three NM-16A or NM-32A, 16- or 32-port async network modules connected to the modem rack (with optional custom cables) allows up to 96 terminals to be connected
