You can send or receive both mono and colour faxes, with the speed dials making it easy to communicate with your most regular contacts. Incoming and ready-to-transmit messages can be stored in the MFC-240C’s sizeable memory.

The scanning software provided gives you access to a range of features including scan to e-mail, OCR, image and file (including PDF). Producing quality copies has never been easier as the MFC-240C’s flatbed design enables bound documents to be copied quickly, whilst the Automatic Document Feeder lets you make multiple copies at the touch of a button.

You can also translate a scanned document or a webpage into a number of languages using the SYSTRAN® WebTranslator 5.0 software.

The MFC-240C’s PhotoCapture Centre allows you to print directly from your memory card or transfer files and images to your PC, without the need for a plug-in card reader or specialist software. The media card is simply shown as an additional drive on your PC, enabling you to save and retrieve photos and documents with ease. Alternatively, you can print your photos directly from your digital camera by using the PictBridge interface.

All Brother colour inkjet all-in-one products come complete with individual colour ink cartridges so colours can be replaced separately. Brother original LC1000 ink cartridges with fade resistant ink used with Brother BP61 glossy photo paper enables the MFC-240C to print with a smaller droplet size (1.5 picolitre). The result is a higher quality photo with better definition.
