The 10 Gb/s DWDM SFP+ – 80 km transceiver module plugs into
ADTRAN equipment designed to accept Small Form-factor
Pluggables (SFPs). Installed into an appropriate host unit, the
SFP+ converts a 10 Gb/s serial electrical data stream to 10 Gb/s
optical output signal and a 10 Gb/s optical input signal to 10 Gb/
s serial electrical data streams. The SFP+ is designed for Ethernet
LAN and WAN multi-rate applications at up to 80km distance
links over single-mode fiber.
